As we approach the AEP season, we've been exploring new ways to be more efficient and reduce cycle times for processing Guaranteed Issue (GI) Medicare Supplement applications.
We've updated Aetna Quote & Enroll so you can upload additional GI documentation at the time of submission. By including these documents when you submit the application, it will help us process the application even faster.
Here's the message you'll see in Aetna Quote & Enroll:
Additional documentation is required for GI applications. Please provide applicable documents for review along with the application. The following documents are acceptable for GI applications: 1. Termination/Retirement Letter 2. Previous Insurance ID Cards 3. Proof of Prior Address
A couple of things to note when uploading the information:
Please select “GI documentation” under the Review and Signature section of the application if you are uploading the documentation. You will see two options in the drop down box.
File names should not contain any spaces or special characters.
